Maps Fix Pro is a trading name of AI Technology. This page says what information I hold, where it comes from, what I do with it, and how to make me stop. Questions go to mike@mapsfixpro.com.

What I hold, and where it comes from

• Public business listings. The public details of local businesses on Google Maps: name, address, phone, website, category, star rating, number of reviews and photos, and opening hours. I get these through a data provider that collects public listing information.
• A business contact email. The contact address a business publishes on its own website.
• Emails. The emails you send me and my replies to them.
• Customer details. If you become a customer: your name, email, the photos and details you send me for your listing, and your invoice. Card payments are handled by Stripe; I never see or store your card number.

What I use it for

• To write to a business, at most a few times, about improving its listing.
• To do the work a customer has asked for, and to invoice for it.

I do not sell or rent any of it, and I do not use it for anything else.

Making me stop

Reply STOP to any email, or write to mike@mapsfixpro.com, and I will not write again. I keep only the address and a note that you asked, so that I never write to it by mistake later.

Who else handles it

Only the services this business runs on: Zoho (email), Stripe (invoices and card payments), the listing data provider mentioned above, and the hosting and network companies that serve this website (Vultr and Cloudflare). Each handles the information only to provide its service.

This website

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking code. Like any web server, it keeps a standard log of requests (the IP address, the page and the time) for security, which is deleted after 14 days.

How long I keep it

• Details of a business I wrote to that did not become a customer: deleted within 12 months, except the do-not-contact note above.
• Customer records and invoices: as long as the law requires for business records.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of what I hold about you or your business, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it, by writing to mike@mapsfixpro.com. I answer within 30 days.
